Hand Finger Heavy

have i fractured my hand?

I fell over 2 weeks ago at 8 months pregnant, all the force went onto my left hand as obviously i didn’t want to land on my stomach. My hand was very painful at first, i had it examined and they said they thought it was just bruised. The day or 2 after i had excruciating pain between my elbow and wrist so went to a & e, they examined me again and still said they thought it was just bruised. They didn’t really want to do an x ray as i was pregnant. So left it a couple of days as they suggested and went to the doctor as my hand was still uncomfortable. He said that it is just bruised. It is now 2 weeks on & the side of my hand (the little finger) still seems to hurt. I can’t put much pressure on it when getting out of a chair, it still seems to be achy when doing certain things as i am trying to use it as much as i can. I can’t seem to lift heavy things either without it hurting. What do you think? thank you very much.

unfortunately ther eisw no way to effectively diagnose this with out an xray. you should be in a splint at very least to afford some degree of protection however
